For the former, she was nominated for the BAFTA Film Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and, for the latter, she was nominated for the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. Her childhood roles included Sue in Worzel Gummidge (1979-1981) and the character Marmalade Atkins (1981-1984).
