As a player, he played 9 games in the National Hockey League for the San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers between 2003 and 2005. After retiring in 2015, he became the head coach and general manager of the New York/Metropolitan Riveters of the National Women's Hockey League from 2015 to 2018. He was the head coach for the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League from 2022 to 2024.
