Chad of Mercia
Archbishop of York; Bishop of Lichfield · Religious Figures · Lived 634 to 672 · aged 38
Chad of Mercia is read about 105 times a day, in 22 languages.
Counted to August 23, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Chad was a prominent 7th-century Anglo-Saxon monk. He was an abbot, Bishop of the Northumbrians and then Bishop of the Mercians and Lindsey People. After his death he was known as a saint.
