English courtesan (1839-1920)
Catherine Walters, also known as "Skittles", was a British fashion trendsetter and one of the last of the great courtesans of Victorian London. Walters was an established equestrian contributing to the rise of fashion trends in horsewomen. Walters' benefactors are rumoured to have included intellectuals, leaders of political parties, aristocrats and Edward, Prince of Wales.
