About this person
Bryan Shelton played for Georgia Tech from 1985 to 1988, then turned pro and spent nearly a decade on tour, collecting two singles titles, two doubles titles, and a mixed doubles final at the 1992 French Open with Lori McNeil. He retired in 1997 and returned to Georgia Tech to coach the women's team, guiding them to the 2007 NCAA title. A move to Florida followed, where he built the men's program into a 2021 national champion. In 2023, with that rare double achievement secured, he left coaching to work full-time with his son Ben, swapping the college circuit for the ATP grind.
