American basketball player (1944–2019)
Bobby Frank Rule was an American professional basketball player. He played at center in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Seattle SuperSonics, Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Milwaukee Bucks. Rule was selected to the NBA All-Rookie team in 1968 and was chosen as an NBA All-Star in 1970. He ranked in the top 10 of scoring average during his second and third seasons. Rule's career was derailed by an Achilles tendon injury in 1971 from which he never fully recovered.
