Berihu Aregawi

Berihu Aregawi Teklehaimanot is an Ethiopian long-distance runner and the current world record holder in the 5000 m road race and the 10,000 m road race. At the Paris 2024 Olympics, Berihu won a silver medal in the 10,000 m, and he placed fourth in the 10,000 m at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Berihu won a silver medal at the 2023 World Athletics Cross Country Championships. He also won a silver medal in the 3,000 m at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships.
