She monetised irony: pink wigs, ahegao faces, and stunts so absurd they short-circuited the internet's ability to decide if she was mocking it or embodying it. The bath water sold out.

About this person
Mary-Belle Kirschner started cosplay modelling on Instagram in 2018, threading memes and anime aesthetics into a persona that felt like it was winking at everyone watching. In mid-2019 she made two moves that cemented the notoriety: a satirical Pornhub account with no actual pornography, and jars of "GamerGirl Bath Water" sold through her online store, which became a media spectacle. Instagram deleted her account for guideline violations and she vanished. When she returned, the wink dropped - she launched an OnlyFans with adult content and began uploading explicitly sexual YouTube music videos. Media outlets landed on "e-girl," "internet troll," and "performance artist" in the same breath, unable to settle on one. TikTok's e-girl wave cited her as a blueprint, though by then she'd already moved past cosplay into something harder to categorise.
