Beatrice Margerite Egli was born 21 June 1988 in Switzerland. In the 10th season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the RTL music competition, she took the title - the second Swiss contestant to win after Luca Hänni had claimed the previous season. The victory launched a pop and Schlager singing career that moved more than 2,000,000 records in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. By 2022 she had crossed into hosting, fronting Die Beatrice Egli Show. The trajectory went from contestant to champion to presenter - the arc of someone who understood the format from both sides.
