Bajrang Lal Takhar is a retired Indian rower and coach. He is the first Indian to win an individual gold medal in rowing at the Asian Games. Previously, he won a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. Takhar represented India at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, competing in the men's single sculls. He has also won multiple gold medals at the South Asian Games and the Asian Championships.
