Awwad S. Alawwad is a Saudi politician and senior government official. He served as Minister of Culture and Information from April 2017 to December 2018, and as Ambassador to Germany from 2015 to 2017. In August 2019, he was appointed by royal decree as President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, with the rank of minister - a post he held until September 2022. He currently serves as an Advisor to the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia.
