Anne Beloff-Chain

Anne Ethel Beloff-Chain, Lady Chain was a British biochemist. She worked at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (1948–1964), Imperial College London (1964–1986) and the University of Buckingham (1986–1991). Her research focused on carbohydrate metabolism and the hormones involved in diabetes and obesity.
