Social reformer in New Zealand
Anna Paterson Stout, Lady Stout was a feminist social reformer campaigning for equal rights and education for women in both New Zealand and Great Britain. She was a founding member of the Women's Christian Temperance Movement in New Zealand, the National Council of Women of New Zealand and helped found the New Zealand Society for the Protection of Women and Children as well as playing a part in the British Suffragette movement.
