Alto of Altomünster
Irish monk · Lived 701 to 760 · aged 59
Alto of Altomünster is read about 7 times a day, in 8 languages.
Counted to August 18, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Alto, O.S.B., was a Benedictine abbot active in the Duchy of Bavaria during the mid-8th century. Tradition holds him to be the eponymous founder of Altomünster Abbey, around which a market town grew up, also called Altomünster. He is honored as a saint by the Catholic Church.
