Alişer or Alişir Efendî, was a Kurdish poet, bard, intellectual and leader of Koçgiri tribe who fought against the Ottomans during World War I alongside the Russian Army. He was the organizer of the Koçgiri rebellion and one of the main leaders of the Dersim rebellion.
