Alice Cunningham Fletcher

Alice Cunningham Fletcher was an American ethnologist, anthropologist, and social scientist who studied and documented Native American culture. Fletcher was a proponent of Native American cultural assimilation, the Indian boarding school system, and private landownership among indigenous peoples.
