Alfonsas Svarinskas was a Lithuanian Roman Catholic priest and freedom fighter against the Soviet occupation of Lithuania. He was a Lithuanian partisan, military chaplain and a Lithuanian Army Reserve Colonel. He was honored with the title of Monsignor by Pope John Paul II on November 14, 1990.
