Aleksey Nikolaevich Beketov was a Russian Imperial and Soviet architect, who made significant contributions to the architectural landscape of Kharkov and beyond, primarily working in the Neoclassical, Neo-Renaissance, and Art Nouveau styles. He was an honorary Professor at the St. Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts from 1894. Honored Artist of Ukrainian SSR (posthumously).
