Alexandru Hâjdeu or Alexander Faddeevich Hizhdeu was a Romanian writer who lived in Bessarabia, now Moldova. He was the father of Romanian writer and philologist Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu. Alexandru Hâjdeu was one of the founding members of the Romanian Academy.
