Russian biochemist (1857-1946)
Aleksei Nikolayevich Bach or Bakh was a Russian and Soviet biochemist and revolutionary. A prominent populist in the late 1870s and early 1880s, Bach left Russia before returning after the October Revolution in 1917. He was a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union and senior member of the Supreme Soviet.
