A typical day, 30 days to 15 October 2026
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 390 days, one point a day.
Something wrong? She came second on a talent show and walked away with the bigger prize. Aitana turned a reality-TV runner-up finish into five Spanish number-ones, a Latin Grammy, and a claim on the title "Spanish Princess of Pop" - proof that the vote doesn't always tell the whole story.

Aitana Ocaña Morales was born 27 June 1999 and broke through in 2017 as the runner-up on the revived Operación Triunfo. Before the finale aired she'd already scored a number-one with "Lo Malo", a duet recorded mid-competition with fellow contestant Ana Guerra. Universal Music Spain signed her to a 360º deal and her debut solo single "Teléfono" shattered streaming records. Her first album Spoiler (2019) earned Latin Grammy nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist; her second, 11 Razones (2020), spawned top-five hits "+ (Más)" and "Corazón Sin Vida". She acted in the Disney+ series La Última (2022) and the film Love, Divided (2024), then released Alpha and Cuarto Azul - the former winning Best Recording Package and earning a Best Contemporary Pop Album nod at the 26th Latin Grammys. She's coached on La Voz Kids and collected an MTV Europe Music Award, ten Los40 trophies, and a stack of others, five number-ones deep in a country that watched her lose and chose her anyway.
