Ahmad Ghazālī was a Sunni Muslim Sufi mystic, writer, preacher, and the head of the Nizamiyya of Baghdad. He is best known in the history of Islam for his ideas on love and the meaning of love, expressed primarily in the book Sawāneḥ.
