Adolph Diesterweg

Friedrich Adolph Wilhelm Diesterweg was a German educator, thinker, and progressive liberal politician, who campaigned for the secularization of schools. He is said to be precursory to the reform of social pedagogy. Diesterweg is considered as "a teacher of teachers".
