Abu Bakr al-Samarqandi
10th-century Samarkand Sunni-Hanafi scholar · Died 882
Abu Bakr al-Samarqandi is read about 4 times a day, in 8 languages.
Counted to August 17, 2026, not since.
The middle day of the days counted, so one week of news cannot move it. The line under it is the last 60 days, one point a day.
Something wrong?Abu Bakr Muhammad b. al-Yamān al-Samarqandi was a Sunni-Hanafi scholar from Samarqand, who combined jurisprudence and theology. He paved the way for his compatriot Abu Mansur al-Maturidi. He opposed the emerging Karramiyya, an anthropomorphist sect.
