Born 11 November 1973, Şevval Sam grew up inside music - her mother, Leman Sam, was already a singer. She moved into acting and found a foothold in Turkish series, appearing in Süper Baba and Gülbeyaz before landing in Bodrum Masalı alongside Nejat İşler and Murat Aygen. The role that stuck was Ender in Yasak Elma, where she worked again with Aygen. She kept singing through it all, holding two careers at once without letting either slip.
