Pedro de Vera

Pedro de Vera Mendoza was a Castilian nobleman and Conquistador who completed the conquest of the island of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands for the Crown of Castile and who brutally put down the rebellion in La Gomera at the end of the 15th century.
