Ogata Kenzan , originally Ogata Shinsei , was an Edo period Japanese potter, painter, and calligrapher. He was also known by the pseudonyms Shisui, Shōkosai, Shuseidō, Tōin, and Shinshō. He is associated with Kyō ware and Kiyomizu ware.
