Qajar prince and official (1818–1883)
Morad Mirza Hesam o-Saltaneh was a Qajar prince, governor and military officer in 19th-century Iran. A son of the crown prince Abbas Mirza, Morad Mirza held various governorships throughout his career, including the Khorasan province five times. Morad Mirza is most notable as a commander of the Second Herat War (1856), sieging the Principality of Herat and re-establishing brief Persian control over Greater Khorasan.
