Marco Mendicino is a Canadian lawyer and former politician who served as the 16th chief of staff to the prime minister in 2025. A member of the Liberal Party, he served as the member of Parliament (MP) for Eglinton—Lawrence from 2015 to 2025. He previously served as the minister of immigration, refugees and citizenship from 2019 to 2021 and the minister of public safety from 2021 to 2023.
