Manuel Vicente Maza was an Argentine lawyer and Federalist politician who briefly served as interim Governor of Buenos Aires from 1834 to 1835. A close ally of the Juan Manuel de Rosas, Maza was nonetheless assassinated in his office by the Mazorca in 1839 following the discovery of a plot by his son Ramón to overthrow the dictator.
