Helge Backlund

Helge Götrik Backlund or Oleg Oskarovich Baklund in the Russian form was a Swedish geologist and mineralogist. He grew up and worked in the Russian Empire before moving to become a professor at the University of Uppsala. He had a special interest in the formation of granites and gneiss.
