Emily Kam Kngwarray, also spelled Kame Kngwarreye, was an Aboriginal Australian (Anmatyerr) artist from Alhalker, in the Sandover region of the Northern Territory. Kngwarray’s unique style and powerful creative vision came to redefine contemporary Aboriginal art and gained worldwide attention.
