About

Clara Petacci was born 28 February 1912. She became the mistress of Benito Mussolini during his years as Italy's dictator. When the regime fell in the closing days of the war, she remained with him. On 28 April 1945, Italian partisans executed Mussolini; Petacci was killed in the same action. She was thirty-three.
