Spanish association football player and diplomat (1886-1941)
Alfonso Albéniz Jordana was a Spanish footballer and referee, as well as a renowned chemical engineer, lecturer and later a diplomat. He is best known for being the first-ever player to play for both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, which he achieved when he moved out from Catalonia to the Spanish capital for study purposes.
