## Bio

Zbigniew Stonoga was born in Ozimek in 1974 and built a profile as an entrepreneur before stepping into the role that would define his public life: whistleblower. In 2014 he released investigation files tied to the Polish bugging scandal, recordings of private conversations among senior officials and businesspeople that detonated across the media. The fallout was immediate and seismic, reshaping the political landscape and earning the affair its tabloid name, Waitergate. In the wake of the scandal he launched the Stonoga Polish Party - a short-lived venture whose name in Polish translates as "centipede" - and later founded Gazeta Stonoga. The arc from business to activism to media suggests a man drawn to the levers of influence, willing to pull them hard.
