## Bio

Born 9 January 1986, the Chinese-Australian creator launched as Wengie on YouTube and carved out territory in the life-hack and beauty space, accumulating a subscriber base that made her one of the platform's bigger draws. The numbers eventually gave her leverage to try music, and she rebranded as WRAYA for that pivot, releasing pop tracks and stepping into voice acting work. Whether the audience followed her off-platform remains the live question, but the first act - the YouTube run - already happened, and it was large enough to fund the experiment.
