# Venero Mangano

> Venero Frank "Benny Eggs" Mangano was the underboss of the Genovese crime family. In 1991, Mangano was convicted of one count of extortion and a related conspiracy count for rigging windows contracts, and in 1993, was sentenced to 15 years and eight months in prison and fined $100,000. He was released in 2006, and died of natural causes on August 18, 2017.
