# Tom Holland

> He's the highest-grossing actor of all time, a record built almost entirely on one role: Peter Parker. Holland turned Spider-Man into a global franchise anchor before his 25th birthday, and the suit still fits.

## Bio

Holland started as a dancer in suburban England - a choreographer spotted him at age nine and pushed him toward Billy Elliot the Musical, where he played the lead from 2008 to 2010. His film break came at 16 in The Impossible (2012), a tsunami drama that won him a young performer award and convinced him to go full-time. Three years and a few smaller roles later, Marvel cast him as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016), making him the youngest actor to anchor an MCU title when Spider-Man: Homecoming arrived in 2017. He's played Parker in seven films so far, including No Way Home (2021) and Brand New Day (2026), threading crime dramas like Cherry and big-budget bets like Uncharted between the superhero runs. In 2024 he returned to the stage as Romeo in the West End, and he's now married to Zendaya, who played MJ opposite him in four Spider-Man films.
