## Bio

Tanveer Wasim Safdar was born on 20 April 1983 and became Tan France, a British-American designer who turned entrepreneurship into a platform. When Queer Eye returned to Netflix, he arrived as its fashion authority, then expanded: hosting the web series Dressing Funny, co-hosting Next in Fashion, writing the memoir Naturally Tan, released in June 2019. His Pakistani heritage and his openness about being gay - a rare combination on a major show, rarer still for a Muslim man on Western screens - made him a figure whose presence carried weight beyond styling tips.
