## Bio

Shekhinah Thandi Donnell appeared twice on M-Net's SA Idols, reaching the Top 32 in 2011's seventh season and climbing to the Top 6 in 2012's eighth. The televised runs didn't win her the title, but they set the stage. In 2017 she released Rose Gold, her debut studio album, which became her best-selling work and earned multi-platinum certification from RiSA on the strength of three consecutive number-one singles: "Suited", "Please Mr.", and "Different". Four years later her second album, Trouble In Paradise, arrived and was certified gold. The arc bent from reality-show contender to chart fixture, the kind of trajectory that takes patience and then pays in full.
