> Sŏng Hon was a Korean philosopher, poet, and politician during the Joseon period. He was a Neo-Confucianist scholar who was a close friend of the scholar Yi I (Yulgok) and an older contemporary of Yi Hwang (T'oegye), leader of the country's "western faction" of the period.
