## Bio

Beni Mosabu was born in Meudon on 28 November 1995, the son of Congolese immigrants. He adopted the pseudonym SDM and entered the French rap scene, carving out space in a crowded field by letting the initials do the work. The choice to operate behind a cipher rather than a given name became part of the appeal. He's Congolese by descent, French by geography, and known by three letters that now move through playlists and venues across the Francophone world.
