In 2015, she was cast in the role of Hayden Barnes on General Hospital. In 2019, Budig was cast on L.A.'s Finest, as Carlene Hart, a drug-trafficking soccer mom. In August 2024, Budig began playing the contract role of Dr. Taylor Hayes on the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful.
