Olamide Gbenga Adedeji was born 15 March 1989 and started under ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes, releasing his debut Rapsodi in 2011. A year later he founded his own imprint, Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL Nation), and dropped the self-titled album that carried "Stupid Love" and "Ilefo Illuminati". By November 2013 he had Baddest Guy Ever Liveth out, with "Durosoke" in rotation, and that July he became the first Nigerian to sign with Cîroc. Ten years on, he landed at the 66th Grammys in 2023 for "Amapiano" with his signee Asake, one of the first Nigerian rappers in that room. In 2025 Billboard named him a Global Power Player, a title earned not just for his own catalog but for the careers he's built behind the scenes.
