# Neneh Cherry

> She turned up seven months pregnant in a Lycra catsuit, rapping "Buffalo Stance" on Top of the Pops in 1989, and the British public couldn't look away. Neneh Cherry's first single made her unavoidable - a Swedish ex-punk with a voice that slid between singing and flow before anyone called it that.
