He was a member of the Convention People's Party and a former Member of Parliament for the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira constituency in the Western Region. He was also an educationist and linguist. He represented the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira constituency on two separate occasions, from 1996 to 2000 and from 2004 to 2008. He also served as the Municipal Chief Executive for Nzema East from 2001 through 2004.
