Galla Jayadev represented the Guntur constituency in the Lok Sabha as a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) during the 16th Lok Sabha (2014–2019) and 17th Lok Sabha (2019–2024) of India. He served as the TDP Parliamentary Party Leader.
