# Hazel Brugger

> She won a Swiss poetry slam at nineteen, then pivoted hard into standup - dry, deadpan, uncommonly sharp - and became one of the youngest faces on German-language late-night television.

## Bio

Allison Hazel Brugger was born on 9 December 1993 in Switzerland and came up through the slam poetry circuit, winning national attention before she was out of her teens. She shifted to comedy and cabaret, where her style - flat affect, surgical timing - cut through fast. By her early twenties she was hosting and appearing on television across the German-speaking world, a rare crossover from page and stage to screen. The arc was quick: poet to comic to presenter, each step tighter than the last.
