Kim Eun-jae trained at SM Entertainment from 2003 but never debuted, pivoting instead to the booth and the notepad. She graduated from NYU Tisch and built a quiet reputation co-writing for Red Velvet, Twice, Le Sserafim - "Psycho" topped Billboard's World Digital Songs in 2019. The turn came in 2025 when she voiced Rumi in Sony's KPop Demon Hunters and co-wrote the soundtrack. "Golden" hit number one on the Hot 100, racked up four Grammy nods, and became the first K-pop track to win Song of the Year at the Grammys, a Golden Globe, and an Oscar for Best Original Song.
