## Bio

Duncan de Moor was born 11 April 1994 and took the stage name Duncan Laurence. He made it to the semi-finals on the fifth season of The Voice of Holland, then represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. "Arcade" took the trophy - the country's first win since 1975 - and went on to rack up numbers on streaming platforms and international charts that most Eurovision entries never see. The song carried him past the contest's typical flash-in-the-pan fate and into something stickier.
